Advice for watching AHM aircraft fly...
A lot of the thrill of being around large propeller-driven aircraft is hearing and seeing the engines start, with their smoke, sounds, and occasional exhaust flames. If you would like to be a part of this adventure, show up at one of our Airshow sites the day before the show starts, usually early afternoon. That unfamiliar noise in the air is our Connie coming to your airport.  After the Airshow is over, stay around until closing time. The Connie usually departs for its Kansas City hangar late in the afternoon.  By the way, that large cloud of smoke and flames created when we start an engine is normal.  No need to call the airport Fire Department. It's been done before! Come see us at an Airshow near you.
